Chicago O’Hare International Airport or Midway International Airport are served by almost all airlines. We recommend that you hire a car from the airport as the drive to the hotel is approximately 30 minutes.

From O’Hare Airport:

Take the I-90 East (Kennedy Expressway) ramp to Chicago Loop. Follow signs for I-90 East for 17 miles. Take Monroe Street (Exit 51E). Left on Monroe. Go approximately one mile. The University Club will be on your left at the corner of Michigan and Monroe. There is a green awning over the revolving door with 76, the Club’s address, on it.

From Midway Airport:

Go South on West Airport Drive towards Cicero Avenue. Turn left on South Cicero Avenue for 2 miles. Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway) for 5 miles. Take exit #292 towards Indiana (I-94 E) Dan Ryan Expressway (1-90)/Wisconsin (I-94W). Take the I-90/I-94 West/Dan Ryan Expressway exit left towards Wisconsin. Merge onto I-90 West. Take Monroe Street (Exit 51E). Turn right onto Monroe Street and go one mile. The University Club will be on your left at the corner of Michigan and Monroe. There is a green awning over the revolving door with 76, the Club’s address, on it.

If traveling by public transportation, take either the Blue line train from O’hare which takes about 45 minutes, or the Orange line from Midway which takes about 25 minutes to downtown Chicago. They run every 7 minutes and cost about $5 contingent on your destination.

From Ogilvie Transportation Center:

500 West Madison Street, Chicago, IL 60661. Head South on North Clinton street toward West Madison street. Turn left onto West Monroe street and The University Club of Chicago will be on the left. There is a green awning over the revolving door with 76, the Club’s address, on it.

From Union Station:

222 South Canal Street, Chicago, IL 60606. Head North on South Canal Street toward West Adams Street. Use the second from the right lane to turn right onto West Monroe street. The University Club of Chicago will be on the left.

From Metra/Southshore Millennium Station:

151 Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60602. Head South on North Michigan Avenue toward East Monroe Street. The University Club of Chicago will be on the right.

Driving or hiring a Driver, Taxi, Uber, Lyft, or Limo is also a way to get to and from downtown Chicago locally. It will cost approximately $30 to $200 contingent on your origin.
